Skill Development

“Communication is a skill that you can learn. It’s like riding a bicycle or typing. If you’re willing to work at it, you can rapidly improve the quality of every part of your life.”

— Brian Tracy

Spoken English:

I’m possible!  Yes, it’s fairly possible to get rid of the fear of public speaking, lack of fluency, and stammering while speaking in English. With the right tricks and practice, you can experience the transformation in yourself. As they say “speak English like a native speaker”.

We at Ravenshaw Helpline engaged in this noble effort for over the last 20 years imparting Spoken English training to students as well as job aspirants. We always encourage our students to learn grammar like a Pro. However, grammar alone does not help, one needs to learn and practice many more tips and tricks in order to become an excellent communicator.

In Accent training as well as Spoken English, Mother Tongue Influence (MTI) plays as a major impediment for the candidates aspiring to master the foreign language. With our experience, we cater to these issues with qualitative training to students, collaborating with them for their success.

So join us and speak English better for a better life and career.

Accent Training:

What’s Up?

Accent Training or Accent Neutralization is the way of reducing the effect of regional or Mother Tongue Influence (MTI) on the pronunciation of English. We at Ravenshaw Helpline cover three sections in Accent Training.

  • Section 1: covers the sounds of English and their main spellings, while highlighting the sound-spelling regularities in English.
  • Section 2: includes pronunciation units which are bigger than individual sounds. This includes turn with syllables, word stress and sentence stress, etc.
  • Section 3: covers pronunciation features which arise in the context of conversation. These include discourse organisation, prominence and tone.

Well, join us to gain an altogether new version of your speech that will definitely surprise you !!!

Group Discussion:

Have you ever worked in a group to achieve something unitedly? Well, that happens in Group Discussion. It is like a debate. However, a debate is competitive in nature while group discussion is a cooperative group process. It is an effective tool in problem-solving, decision-making, and personality assessment. Group Discussion skill involves other skills like interpersonal skill, time management skill, leadership skill, etc. Group Discussion ensures one’s academic success, popularity, and better job perspective.

Group Discussion has emerged as an important activity in academic, business, and administrative spheres. This systematic and purposeful interactive oral process facilitates the exchange of ideas, thoughts, and feelings ultimately leading to success in life and career.

Personal Interview:

Wow!!

Have you ever been questioned? How do you feel? By the way, it is very easy, rather easiest, to ask questions. But answering questions is the toughest act in the world. Dear friends, Interviewing is an important step in the employee selection process. If done effectively, the interview enables the employer to determine if an applicant’s skills, experience, and personality meet the job’s requirements. In addition, preparing for an interview can help clarify a position’s responsibilities. Let’s go-ahead to place ourselves in a position where any interview question will be easy for us. That will lead to successfully entering into a job or career, ultimately making our life successful.
